The Grand Launching of UCB's Mobile Financial Services "UCash" was held in 23rd Nov'2013 at Pan Pacific Sonargaon, Dhaka.Chairman of UCBL, Mr. M. A. Hasem inaugurated the launching of "UCash".

Among others, the programme was addressed by the UCB Vice-Chairman Sharif Zahir, Ex-Executive Committee Chairman Saifuzzaman Chowdhury, Audit Committee Chairman ATM ZahirulAlam, Director MA Sabur, Directors MdTanvir Khan, Md Jahangir Alam Khan. Managing Director of UCBL Muhammed Ali and Managing Director of Semicon Private Limited Kazi Mahfuzul Karim were also present in the launching ceremony.

UCB has already appointed 10,000+ agents throughout the country to make available their service "UCash" to the grassroots level. Mobile Account holders(savings) of "UCash" will get daily Interest on the deposit in mobile wallet from the very first day. Initially the service of UCash will be available through 'Robi' and 'Airtel'Network. It will be accessible through all the mobile network operators very soon.

Mobile Banking Services of United Commercial Bank with Brand name "UCash" has beed launched by the Managing Director of the Bank Mr. Muhammed Ali in 4th July, 2013 at the agent point 'Sonia Computer & Photostat' in Taltola City Super Market, Khilgaon.

Among others Kazi Mahfuzul Karim, Managing Director, Niaz Md. Bin Hasan, Director from Semicon Private Limited, Mr. Muhammed Ali, Managing Director from UCBL, Mr. Rozano Marius Planta, Country Head, Digital Services from Robi Axiata Limited were present at the launching ceremony.

Under this Mobile Banking Service, United Commercial bank offers benefits to its Customer like getting foreign remittance instantly in customer mobile wallet Transaction notifications, Cash-In and Cash-Out facility without having a bank account, utility bill payment, merchant payment, POS transaction, cash withdrawal from ATM and DPS installment payment using mobile phone, etc. all-over the country. Semicon Private Limited has developed the Mobile Banking Software (mPay) by their own expertise and provided to the bank (UCBL) as technology Partner to implement Mobile Banking Service (UCash) to customers.

Shahjalal Islami Bank Limited (SJIBL) and Semicon Private Limited have signed an Agreement on Mobile Financial Services (Mobile Banking) to the SJIBL's Clients and Well-wishers on 16 September 2012. Mr. Kazi Mahfuzul Karim, Managing Director and CEO, Semicon Private Limited and Md. Abdur Rahman Sarkar, Managing Director of Shahjalal Islami Bank Limited signed the agreement on behalf their respective organizations.

Among others Mr. Rabiul Islam, Chairman, Mr. Niaz Mohammad Bin Hasan, Director, Semicon Private Limited and Mr. Md. Mukhter Hossain, Additional Managing Director, Mr. Md.
